How to use the charts

  • Find your position. UTG is first to act, HJ the hijack, CO the cutoff, BTN the button, SB the small blind.
  • Open every hand inside the grid when the action is folded to you; fold the rest.
  • Paste the range text into the range calculator to see how a hand or another range performs against it.
  • Percentages next to each chart are the share of all 1,326 combinations.

Reading the grid

Pairs run down the diagonal from AA to 22. Suited hands are above the diagonal (AKs at the top right), offsuit hands below it (AKo at the bottom left). A cell is green when the hand is raised.

Frequently asked questions

Are these charts GTO?
They are simplified versions of solver-based 100bb ranges that most training sites teach. Exact solver outputs mix frequencies and depend on rake and sizing; these charts round to pure raise or fold so they can be memorised.
How should I adjust them?
Tighten from early position when the table is aggressive or the rake is high; widen on the button against players who fold too much. Against 3-bets, hands at the bottom of each range are folds.
What does RFI mean?
Raise first in: the range you open with when everyone before you has folded. It is the foundation of preflop strategy; calling and 3-betting ranges are built around it.
